The Fort Bend Katy area Target store, Texas Children Hospital’s Injury Prevention/Safekids Greater Houston, and Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office have decided to offer a permanent inspection station for car seats (child restraint system) at Target Store’s parking lot.
The site is open for service on April 26, Thursday, from 9:30am-12:00pm, and it will recur every other 4th Thursday of the month.
We encourage parents and caregivers to look into this “Free Service” to ensure the safety installation of their child restraint system.
Statistics shows that 4 out 5 car seats are installed incorrectly, which could lead to a serious consequences such as injury of the child in the event of accidents, or death.

Our certified and expert volunteers are trained and qualified to inspect any child restraint systems in the market, and they receive continuing education and training on the subject every two years through Safekids Greater Houston from Texas Children Hospital Injury Prevention Team.
