Great Oaks South Homeowners Association

Residents of Great Oaks South,

The Board of Directors are promoting a new incentive for our younger generation by offering scholarships to two (2) High School graduating seniors who have exhibited a desire to be involved in their community. Each scholarship is for $1,500.00 and will be awarded to two (2) students. This program is a wonderful way to give back to the children of our future. If you have a high school senior that meets the following criteria, please fill out the attached form and submit it to the Homeowners Association.

Criteria

1. Must be a U.S. citizen and a resident of the Great Oaks South Community.

2. Have been accepted by an accredited college or university.

3. Be a full-time student.

4. Have contributed to the community or have been involved in service related activities such as church, scouting, etc.

5. Submit a letter including goals and why Community Service is important.

6. Must be enrolled in two (2) consecutive semesters.

7. Deadline for submitting the application is April 30, 2017.

All applicants who meet the above criteria will be interviewed by one or more individuals from the Great Oak South Homeowners Association Board. Upon verification of enrollment, a check in the amount of $1,500.00 will be sent to the Financial Aid Office of the recipient’s school. Great things are happening within Great Oak South, so give a Round of Applause to our hard working board for all the work that they have been doing.
